Dance, walrus, dance!

Through the year, we’ve seen countless home video footages of dogs, cats, birds and other domestic animals dancing (or at least trying to make a passable imitation of one). Never in a million years have I thought I would ever see a walrus dance.

Hot damn! This walrus dances better than I do! *grumble*

I can hardly imagine how much time and effort it took to teach a walrus to dance, and oh so.. erm, gracefully too! How do they do it anyway? How exactly do you teach a walrus to dance? And how does the walrus know the timing and the sequence of actions? Does he know how to count the repetitions between moves or does he follow the beat of the music?

I tried googling for possible answers, and instead saw this gem of a description:

What this video doesn’t show is the intense regime of forced dance training that this walrus had to endure in a Filipino prison

Nyahahaha. Priceless.
